Cesium Phosphotungstate
Chinese Name: 磷鎢酸銫
Chemical Formula: CsxH3-xW12O40(x=0.5~3)
Solubility: slightly soluble in water and polarity organic agent.
Cesium phosphotungstate is slightly soluble in water and polarity organic solvent, can be widely applied in heterogeneous catalyst system, has high thermal stability. It is also active in many other reactions. Compared to phosphotungstic acid, it has bigger specific surface area, can enlarge the activity of reaction.
Cesium Phosphotungstate Synthesis Method
The synthesis can use phosphotungstic and inorganic cesium salt as raw material, use solid phase method to synthesize, main steps: Firstly mix inorganic cesium salt and phosphotungstic acid with molar ratio 2.25~3.0:1.0 (calculated under molar ratio of cesium and phosphorus). Grinding for 1~2 hours under room temperature. Put in tube furnace for heating 200~300℃ for 1~2 hours, we can get cesium phosphotungstate.
Cesium phosphotungstate is mainly used as catalyst, is widely applied in acidity catalyst and oxidizing catalyst reaction. Such as synthesis monododecyl phosphate, catalytic comus wilsoniana fruit oil to prepare biodiesel.
